Exhibition from JULY 5 to 20, 2024 (Prolonged to July 31)

- Artistic residency and exhibition project
Nour Justinia Hotel, Sousse, Tunisia.
Organiser: Elbirou Art Gallery with AllArtNow and Vision Forum
Curators: Abir Boukhari & Karim Sghaier

This year’s biennial consists of  24 artists who are invited to work in as many rooms on several floors during the renovation of the Nour Justinia hotel in Sousse.

The hotel accommodates artists in renovated rooms, while rooms under construction are transformed into temporary studios. The Sea view rooms will therefore receive a new type of tenant, not tourists but artists from various backgrounds, Tunisian and international, emerging and established. They will leave  their markon these rooms with new creations.

UV – FULLY BOOKED: a hotel which is fully booked even though it is partly under construction; not to fill a void, but as a demonstration of the inherent relationship of art with the phases of transformation often conducive to creation.
